Whenever I draw these little guys, my friends remind me that they resemble burrito’s holding shotguns; I tend to agree with them. Wait until they see the swazitka’s playing golf…or are they walking middle fingers?…Anyways, who gives a shit; I have always been a sucker for things that are fun, quick, and easy.

Retirement home for a brother in arms…

July 15th, 2008

I love(ed) this shirt. A close friend of mine, Ian Astbury (from The Cult) gave me this Frisco’s Choppers shirt many  years ago. Today I came across it, as well as many other fond memories of  that era while digging through some old crates at the FUCT head quarters. It’s funny, and quite strange how the sight and smell of a garment or any tangible item for that matter can evoke memories of yore. Upon finding this shirt today, I immediately felt a close re-connection to the garment, as well as an odd sense of security and warmth, which is odd being that this shirt has seen the inside of jails, rehabs and filthy drug apartments throught out the late 90’s, while never seeing the inside of a washing machine.Throughout the 90’s Ian and I would frequent the infamous Pomona Gun Show, rummaging through anything Vietnam War or WW2 German era, anything. My loft began to resemble likes of the set from Apocalypse Now meets the Eagles Nest…I feel it to be appropriate to post this these images given the nature of the business, that being “streetwear” (I am using that term loosely) and T-shirts…
